Welcome to the Arizona Endurance Riders Club

The purpose of the Arizona Endurance Riders Club is to promote endurance riding in Arizona by hosting educational and social events and to encourage camaraderie. To support Arizona’s AERC ride managers by recruiting and training ride volunteers. To support AERC, the national governing body for endurance, by encouraging membership and by increasing awareness and visibility in the community.

We offer endurance clinics, along with educational presentations and “mini-clinics” on relevant endurance riding topics such as course navigation and marking, trail etiquette, vet check procedures, training, travel, and other areas of interest. In addition to rider education, we also provide ride management support, offering volunteer training and recognition, and a comprehensive database of volunteers. We are also continually building a mentorship network, connecting riders new to endurance with experienced endurance riders as mentors and training partners.

The club membership is open to anyone who is interested in endurance riding, whether as a rider, manager, or volunteer.

Arizona hosts over half a dozen endurance rides throughout the year, all across the state. Come join us and experience everything from cactus to pine trees from the back of your equine partner!

Endurance is a family-friendly sport, open to all, and offers distances ranging from 10-mile intro/fun rides up to 100 miles or multi-day rides.

Endurance celebrates an amazing partnership with your horse!
